Fear? What fear?!

Posted by Robin Abel on

If you've ever walked around town with me (it's a popular thing to do), you probably NEVER noticed that I don't walk on the grates.  My husband is actually the only person that knows I am totally afraid of grates - storm drains, air vents, big ones, little ones... all of them.     I was totally vindicated the other day when walking the dog.  We live in the middle of farm land and don't have those scary drains but when we walk in town or a housing plan, the evil things appear.  The other day, the dog and I walked...

Be unique!

Leona's.  For some of you, that's all I had to say.  Now I've lost you to the smooth texture, the bright flavors, and the unique combination of tastes created in the Leona's kitchen.  If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you've got to try an ice cream sandwich from Leona's!   Leona's is a lactose free product but you'd never know it from the taste.  One of it's founders, Katie, has lactose intolerance and tried for years to find something she could love.  She received an ice cream maker for a wedding gift, started experimenting, and the rest is...
